Summer 2017 Challenges

Today marks the first day of my annual leave. Although summer tends to be a time for relaxation amongst academics, there is so much happening in the field of games development I am going to dedicate a vast portion of my break to getting up to speed with stuff I’ve fallen behind on by setting myself a series of challenges in various aspects of game asset production.

This will also serve as a test-bed for learning activities that will feature on the proposed Games & VFX Production* undergraduate programme myself and colleague Jon Holmes are working on.

I’m not promising I’ll post every experiment and challenge update, but I certain need to make a start consolidation all the great information, examples and tutorials there are out there!
